And also all the “tips” for anyone who will want to be here. Finally, here are the official dates. We anxiously waited the right moment to advertise them because we had a great desire to start. And now that all it’s ready, here we are: Friday 6 and Saturday 7 of Jenuary 2006, those will be the “happy days” and the opening will be in the Epiphany day.
We choose those particular days because the period of Xmas holidays is surely the right moment for an event like the one we are organizing, taking advantage to the party atmosphere we can feel during those days: the schools are closed, the Xmas is over and the New Year’s Day is now a memory. Moreover, this is the right period for moving and more or less everybody is ready to leave his houses. In particular, the 6 and 7 of January are the last days of Xmas holidays; so, how to end it with a flourish if not with two “Happy days”? We tried to meet the requirements of everybody leaving the day after, on Sunday, for a comfortable homecoming for exhibitors and visitors, without the hurry due to business commitments. We also choose the place that will give hospitality to the event according with his particular characteristics. Terni, in fact, has been preferred not only because it’s the seat of our editorial office, but also for it’s excellent geographical position: it’s in the heart of Umbria, and it represents a central benchmark for our country, easily reachable both from the North and from the South of Italy. The best aspect is in fact the perfect connection of the city with the railway and motorway system: it’s half an hour far from the Foligno station (a very important railway junction in the national railway system) and less than one hour far from the Roma Termini station. From the point of view of roads it’s 15 minutes far from the Orte tollbooth (Autostrada del Sole – A1).
In particular, the place that will give hospitality to the exhibition will be the complex of Ex-officine Bosco, placed very close to the center of Terni, near the railway station and in the biggest parking area of the city.
